The Flemish Literature Fund, an autonomous government institution, promotes Flemish literature in Belgium and abroad. The principal instruments of its foreign policy are professional advice and grants for translations of fiction and illustrated books, production and travel. It encompasses all branches of the literary sector and participates in international literary events.
