| Antonio Faeti – President Born in 1939 in Bologna, after years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Antonio Faeti obtained the tenure of the first University chair in Italy for the History of Children’s Literature at the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Bologna. He presently teaches at a course in Pedagogy of Reading supported by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna. | |
| Ginette CaronCanadian by birth, Ginette Caron graduated in Graphic Design at Montréal’s Concordia University. After a few years working in different advertising and branding agencies in Montréal, she moved to Italy. Ginette lived in Bologna, Venice and now Milan where she opened her own graphic design studio in 1985. With more than thirty years experience in strategic design applied to corporate identity, Ginette Caron has worked in all areas of communications, from identity creation to coordinated image communications, editorial design, packaging, exhibit design, store concept and graphic design for website architecture. She specializes in corporate identity projects and branding for clients that include Barilla, Bulgari, Chase Manhattan Bank, Grand Théâtre de Provence, Fondazione Prada, Knoll, Moleskine, San Carlo, Swatch and TV5. During her career, she also worked as in-house Design Director for the Benetton and Prada Groups. From 1985 to 1997, Ginette worked for Gregotti Associati International/Pierluigi Cerri. She has collaborated on corporate image enhancement with major firms in the Italian design sector. Ginette is regularly invited to teach workshops, lecture at universities and speak at conferences both in Italy and elsewhere. Her work has won many prestigious international awards, been shown in exhibitions and widely reviewed in books and journals. A member of the Italian Design and Communications Association, AIAP (Associazione Italiana progettazione per la communicazione visiva), Ginette is often asked to serve as a jury member in graphic design competitions. Chosen by Adobe for the year 2010, she will mentor a winning student of the Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2010. | |

Chosen as a top librarian of the future, Jake is judge for the prestigious Carnegie and Greenaway medals and has sat on the selection committee for the appointment of the UK's children's laureate. He is a keen reviewer and an active commentator on children's books. | |
